Hotel Restaurant Capricorns

We stayed in two small but cozy rooms with a rustic feel (everything was made of wood), that shared a balcony with an amazing view. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable. Shower room with single shower (lockable from the inside) and toilet were shared with all rooms on the same corridor, but there was a nice sink and mirror in each room. Dinner was exquisite, and the breakfast buffet in the morning offered all you'd expect. Guests can sign up for a slot to use the hot tub that is installed in the back garden of the hotel. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

Geared towards mountain enthusiasts so come with an agenda. Books and board games are provided for downtime. Staff does a nice job creating a seemless experience. Rooms are clean. Slept great on the bed. Shared bathroom scenario is totally fine, WC and showers are right by the rooms and even though they are 'shared' they are private - meaning only one person at a time with a lock on the door. Food is excellent, good wines, nice beer on tap. Great views. Breatbtaking view of stars at night. It's really great that u can reserve the hot pot and sauna for private use, but if u really want the Sauna privately take ur do not disturb sign for the door because other guests seem to not know how to keep track of time and will show up an hour early for their appointments right in the middle of yours. Happened to me both times I reserved the sauna and was a bit of a bummer because it was a major plus to be able to do private Sauna with my partner - but was always interrupted. We were a couple with a large dog.

Even though the place was indeed tranquil, my time there was spoiled a bit by presence of some strange smell that was everywhere: room, kitchen, food. Their food was of a particularly strange taste. Minus star for the smell. And despite its tranquility, the place was a bit too pricy for the quality they have offered. Minus star for price/quality mismatch.
